Training

We offer 3 training courses:

Operator Training

Operator training will allow your operator to learn how deal with issues that may arise and can not be resolved without a programmer present. This training is good for the off-shift operator. This is a two day class.

Programmer Training - Beginning and Advanced

We offer Basic and Advanced training

Operator Training – 1 day

This training consists of training a CMM operator to be familiar with opening programs and running them either through the Calypso CAD window or through the Auto Run function. This class is structured for a CMM operator and is excellent for the off-shift personnel. Each class will have instruction along with “hands on’ situations. This class is typically added to the end of a Basic or AdvancedTraining class. Please let us know at the time of scheduling either the basic or advanced class that you would like to add this training.

The follow topics will be covered:

  • Startup and shut down
  • Loading a program
  • Loading Auto Run
  • How to activate the Auto Run sequence
  • How to master the reference sphere to calibrate probes
  • How to calibrate probes
  • How to re-qualify probes
  • How to recover from a broken stylus tip
  • E-Stop recovery
  • Recovery from a Power outage
  • Manual Alignment
  • Fixture Alignment

This class will also cover topics that arise during the training that the operator has experienced and still has questions about.
